About the Role
As a Logistics and Inventory Coordinator, you will serve as the central hub for material flow, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods are accurately processed and verified. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency by managing inventory accuracy and supporting the seamless transition of materials across our production facility.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the movement of materials using forklifts and pallet jacks to maintain optimal production workflows.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections on incoming raw materials using precision measurement tools to uphold high standards.
- Drive inventory accuracy through consistent cycle counting and systematic WIP processing.
- Generate precise shipping documentation and labeling to ensure seamless logistics and traceability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with quality assurance and purchasing departments to resolve material discrepancies.
- Utilize ERP software to maintain real-time data integrity for all warehouse transactions.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in material handling or shipping and receiving environments.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Technical aptitude for using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Current forklift certification or the willingness to undergo comprehensive safety training.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on process improvement.
