Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a wide array of equipment, optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve PLC maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain machines, power distribution systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Interpret technical documents such as blueprints, sketches, and maintenance manuals to facilitate effective repairs and installations.
- Employ welding techniques to fabricate, alter, or repair equipment parts and structural units, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
- Document all repair and maintenance activities using a computerized work order system for accurate record-keeping and analysis.
- Uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all prescribed safety practices and regulations.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, ensuring reliable power distribution and equipment functionality.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
- Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Must provide own basic tools.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in industrial manufacturing with a solid understanding of machine technology and operation of heavy industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with industry-specific safety standards and practices.
- Experience with machine shop equipment, electronic industrial systems, PLCs, variable frequency drives, servo drives, power distribution, instrumentation, preventative maintenance, and human machine interfaces, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
