Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as a critical technical partner for healthcare facilities, ensuring that essential medical systems remain operational and reliable. You will leverage your mechanical expertise to diagnose complex issues and provide high-quality repairs, directly impacting patient safety and clinical efficiency.

• Execute comprehensive diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on a wide range of medical hardware and integrated systems.
• Manage a dynamic service territory by autonomously prioritizing service calls, installations, and field upgrades to maximize equipment uptime.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex malfunctions and ensure all regulatory documentation is accurately recorded.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clinical staff, providing transparent repair options and identifying opportunities to enhance facility operations.
• Utilize advanced mobile diagnostic tools and digital platforms to maintain compliance and track service history across multiple sites.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of professional experience, including 2 years in a mechanical or technical capacity.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet strict vendor credentialing and background check requirements.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software, mobile applications, and digital data entry systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on professional customer engagement and clear communication.

• Associate degree in a technical field or relevant military mechanical training.
