Fabrication Specialist

As a Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality pressure vessels and structural components. You will leverage your technical expertise in plate rolling and metal forming to ensure precise, efficient fabrication that meets rigorous industry standards.

• Execute plate rolling operations for materials ranging from 3/16" to 1" thickness, ensuring accuracy in diameter and structural integrity.
• Operate and perform setups for brake press and shear machinery to meet specific project tolerances.
• Interpret complex blueprints and perform precise plate layouts to guide the fabrication process.
• Utilize plasma cutting technology to shape components according to detailed job specifications.
• Maintain compliance with ASME code standards through diligent quality control and documentation.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and ensure timely project completion.
• Uphold a culture of safety by strictly following operational protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in heavy metal fabrication, including plate rolling and brake press operation.
• Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and technical layout.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Solid understanding of shop math and measurement tools.
• Commitment to safety and team-oriented communication.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with welding techniques, particularly in pressure vessel environments.
• Familiarity with ASME code requirements and quality control systems.
• Experience with CNC plasma cutting and vertical lathe operations.
• Current forklift certification and experience with heavy material handling.
