About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and implement necessary repairs. Your proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities- Conduct mold changes to maintain production efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical malfunctions using technical documents and equipment manuals.
- Replace worn or damaged parts, utilizing hoists, hand tools, and power tools.
- Measure and assess parts to identify deviations from specifications, using tools like calipers and micrometers.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA, federal, local, and plant standards.
- Monitor and maintain support systems such as chillers and compressors.
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment issues to management.
Required Skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, supplemented by technical training.
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with computer skills for documentation.
- Must provide own tools.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience operating forklift equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience with plastic extrusion or thermoforming processes.
