About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment repair to maximize uptime and maintain a safe working environment. Your proficiency in PLC maintenance, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on a wide array of manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Utilize blueprints, sketches, and maintenance manuals to effectively troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized work order system.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere through reliable attendance and a commitment to safety.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
- Ability to perform manual tasks in varying temperatures, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong understanding of machine technology and heavy industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with PLCs, variable frequency drives, servo drives, and human-machine interfaces.
- Experience with welding and pipefitting.
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards, including NFPA 70E (Arc flash).
