Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems and related equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on all control systems.
- Identify and fix problems related to electrical and control systems to minimize downtime.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve overall system performance.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Support the creation and rollout of control system enhancements.
- Offer technical assistance and training to colleagues as required.
- Program and edit Allen Bradley PLC's
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, or a similar field of study.
- Demonstrated experience as a Controls Technician or in a comparable position.
- Solid grasp of control systems, PLCs, and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and address urgent issues as they arise.
