Automation Controls Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes through automation and electrical systems expertise. In this role, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting PLCs, developing PLC software, and assisting in the setup of new production equipment. Your proficiency in electrical schematics and industrial robot programming will be essential to optimizing our operations.

• Collaborate with maintenance to enhance PLC troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electronic equipment.
• Support the commissioning of new production equipment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Develop and oversee PLC-related software to improve automation system efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with industrial automation equipment to minimize downtime.
• Design and interpret electrical schematics for automated systems.
• Program industrial robots to enhance manufacturing precision and speed.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated PLC Programming Experience.
• Strong PLC Troubleshooting Skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting Electrical Schematics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Industrial Robot Programming (Fanuc, Yaskawa Motoman, Universal Robotics).
• Familiarity with SCADA systems.
• Background in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Allen Bradley).
