Responsibilities- Process daily invoices for shipments, including manual invoices for scrap and miscellaneous items, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Examine production work orders, investigate inventory discrepancies, and resolve reporting issues to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Finalize production orders and generate production reports within the ERP system (E1), providing valuable insights into manufacturing performance.
- Support monthly inventory activities, reconciling work-in-progress (WIP) and raw materials to ensure accurate valuation.
- Contribute to month-end close processes, preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate coding of accounts payable and efficient processing of purchase orders, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Validate documentation, secure necessary approvals, and input invoices for payment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Analyze account variances to identify trends and enhance reporting accuracy, supporting informed decision-making.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
