π° Salary Range: $85,000 β $115,000 (commensurate with experience)
A highly respected San Francisco law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorneys and the firmβs management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys working on both litigation and administrative law matters.
πΉ Key Responsibilities:
- Provide complex paralegal and administrative support to attorneys across various practice areas.
- Conduct legal research, gather and analyze data, statutes, rules, case law, and evidence to support case preparation.
- Draft and prepare a wide range of legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- Accurately proofread and format citations using the Bluebook and California Style Manual.
- Prepare and manage subpoenas, including coordination of service, tracking, and proof of service.
- Assist with all stages of discovery and document production, including redactions, Bates labeling, and privilege log creation.
- Support attorneys in trial and administrative hearing preparation β compiling exhibits, witness binders, deposition transcripts, and other related materials.
- Assist in responding to third-party subpoenas and Public Records Act requests, ensuring compliance with deadlines and confidentiality standards.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility throughout the life cycle of each matter.
- Handle confidential materials with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
π Qualifications:
- 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation or administrative law.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with document management systems preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict court deadlines.
- Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent education preferred.
