Location: Dallas / Metro
Compensation:
- Licensed: $95,000 – $115,000 base $18K target bonus
- Unlicensed: $90,000 – $110,000 base $17K target bonus
Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related discipline REQUIRED (BArch or MArch preferred)

The Role
As our Construction Administration Director, you'll spearhead all construction-phase operations, ensuring our designs are executed with precision and our quality standards are maintained from groundbreaking through project closeout. You'll serve as the vital connection between the design team, clients, and contractors—directing communication, site strategy, and field documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Direct firmwide construction administration services and serve as the primary point of contact for field execution
- Develop and implement standardized CA protocols, documentation tools, and quality assurance/quality control practices
- Represent the firm on job sites—championing design integrity and client objectives
- Lead or delegate site visits, construction progress meetings, and milestone observations
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with contract documents and design intent
- Identify discrepancies or site issues early and communicate with clarity and urgency
- Coordinate RFI responses, submittal reviews, and contractor inquiries
- Maintain consistency and transparency using internal systems such as OneNote, checklists, and logs
- Observe critical project stages (foundation, framing, weather barriers, interior finishes) and document findings
- Ensure adherence to AIA contract standards (A201), Division 01 requirements, and applicable building codes
- Foster a collaborative, observation-based field presence that promotes continuous feedback and resolution
- Escalate significant construction deviations and assist in preparing design clarifications or revisions

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related discipline REQUIRED (BArch or MArch preferred)
- 10 years of experience in construction administration or related fieldwork, particularly in high-end residential or boutique commercial projects
- Architectural licensure is a plus but not mandatory
- PMP certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of AIA contract documents, especially A201 and Division 01 specifications, and local building regulations
- Proven ability to build trust and lead communication among clients, builders, and internal design teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive and organized approach to fieldwork
- A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field is required for consideration
- Experience using construction tracking tools such as OneNote, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with design tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and/or SketchUp preferred
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related discipline to qualify for this position
