About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected architecture and design firm, is seeking a Construction Administration Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, accuracy, and process management within the construction administration phase. You'll play a key role in supporting the project team by managing RFI and Submittal workflows, ensuring timely updates, and keeping everyone aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update RFI and Submittal logs daily in Excel.
- Pull RFIs and Submittals from General Contractor platforms (Procore, Project Site, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Newforma) and accurately enter them into tracking spreadsheets.
- Monitor process flow and assist in keeping the team on schedule by providing timely reminders and guidance.
- Coordinate with architects and project team members to ensure RFIs and Submittals are addressed promptly (note: this role does not involve responding to RFIs/Submittals directly).
- Support process management to maintain accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, data entry, formatting; advanced modeling not required).
- Familiarity with construction administration processes and platforms such as Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills; able to keep a team on track in a collaborative, professional manner.
- Degree preferred but not required; a background in Construction Management or related experience is highly desirable.
