Elevate your career with Lincoln Tech and help shape the future for our students! We're in search of an Assistant Director of Administration to take our financial aid services to the next level. In this role you'll provide efficient and policy-compliant solutions for a wide range of financial aid matters. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and integrity of student records and our operating system. Plus, you'll serve as the liaison between our campus and the corporate office, handling Accounting, Human Resources, and Payroll-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of experience and training that enables completion of the essential functions and provides the required knowledge and skills
  • Ability to produce routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the billing and collections activity related to student and agency payments
  • Perform student account audits as necessary during various stages of the student's enrollment at school and subsequently create and submits refund or collections files to the appropriate Corporate Departments
  • Ensure weekly and monthly revenue postings
  • Manage and reconcile all activity related to the following:
    • Daily Bank Deposits
    • Petty Cash
    • Inventory
    • Accounts Payable
  • Review month-end financials and provides supporting analyses to identify deviations from the budget
  • Provide proper documentation to relevant state and federal agencies in order to ensure that the campus continues to participate in relevant programs
  • Assist in providing periodic reports to the following bodies:
    • Accreditation agencies
    • US Department of Education
    • State Department of Education
  • Manage bookstore activity:
    • Maintains an accurate inventory and purchasing records for school bookstore
    • Processes the inventory report on a monthly basis, to verify the overhead of the bookstore
    • Verify and maintains inventory of books/tools/uniform orders. Distributes books and uniforms to students within the timeframe of classes in session
