Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment and machinery operate safely and efficiently while supporting a zero-defect quality standard. This role also maintains the facility, including the building and grounds, to ensure a safe and presentable work environment.
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
- Strong mechanical aptitude through trade school or relevant hands-on experience
- Basic electrical knowledge with willingness to continue developing skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices such as calipers and tape measures
- Experience with spare parts inventory or maintenance management systems is a plus
- Ability to machine parts using lathes, mills, and welding equipment is a plus
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
- Respond to equipment downtime quickly and efficiently to restore production
- Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Identify and implement improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiency
- Assist with installation, startup, and qualification of new equipment
- Review technical documentation to support maintenance planning and scheduling
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and labor time using systems such as RedZone
- Perform equipment setup and changeovers as needed
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
2nd shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $35.00 - $42.00 hourly, based on experience
