Industrial Field Service Technician
The Industrial Field Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customer sites to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment. This role supports wastewater and industrial systems, ensuring equipment operates efficiently while delivering high-quality service and technical support to customers.
Requirements of the Industrial Field Service Technician
- Proven experience in a field service or maintenance role working with electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, wiring, and mechanical components
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel 50–75%
Responsibilities of the Industrial Field Service Technician
- Travel to customer sites to install, inspect, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Perform routine maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment
- Maintain accurate service records, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams
- Provide training and guidance to customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $35.00 - $45.00 an hour, based on experience
