HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician is responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems for residential and commercial clients. This role supports a fast-paced service environment, ensuring equipment operates efficiently while delivering high-quality service.

Requirements of the HVAC Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification preferred
• EPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC service or maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC-R systems, including furnaces, condensers, boilers, and rooftop units
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Some welding experience preferred
• Experience working in residential and commercial environments
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

Responsibilities of the HVAC Technician

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC-R systems for residential and commercial customers
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine system inspections
• Service equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, rooftop units, and refrigeration systems
• Respond to service calls, including occasional after-hours or emergency calls
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and system performance
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company standards
• Assist with installations and additional facility maintenance services as needed

Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $35.00 - $40.00 an hour, based on experience
