Multi-Spindle Screw Machine OperatorA manufacturing company in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking skilled Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operators to set up, operate, and maintain multi-spindle lathe-type screw machines with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms.Requirements of the Multi-Spindle Screw Machine OperatorMinimum of 1–3 months related experience in a machining environment; more experience preferredExperience operating multi-spindle screw machines (Davenport or similar) highly preferredMechanical aptitude with ability to adjust cams, gears, stops, and tools during productionAbility to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructionsResponsibilities of the Multi-Spindle Screw Machine OperatorSet up and operate multi-spindle screw machines according to blueprint and job order specificationsPosition and secure collets, bushings, stock pushers, and bar stock in feeding mechanismsInstall and adjust cams, gears, stops, and cutting tools at each stationSet cutting speeds and feed rates, and cycle machine through operationsInspect first pieces and sample parts to ensure conformity with specificationsReplace worn tools and sharpen tools as needed using a bench grinderAdjust machine controls for timing, clearance, and chip removalPerform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs as required1st and 2nd shift available,_ DIRECT HIRE_Pay is $25.00 - $30.00 an hour, based on experience**If you have an open application with Matthews Professional Employment, Inc., please express your interest in this position to your consultant.**
