Job Summary:
The Automotive Billing Clerk will be responsible for managing and correcting all new and used sales paperwork for an automotive dealership. This includes, verifying, correcting, properly filing sales paperwork, along with handling inquiries related to dealership paperwork. The Automotive Billing Clerk will work closely with other departments within the dealership, including the sales and finance teams, to ensure accurate and timely processing of paperwork.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Verifies accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors.
- Work closely with the dealership's finance and sales departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of all vehicle transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all vehicle transactions and ensure proper filing of all paperwork.
- Performs general bookkeeping work, which may include entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
- Performs all duties required to prepare paperwork needed to title vehicles purchased.
- Generates shipping labels.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of related experienced preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
