Workforce Development Specialist

Job Title: Workforce Development Specialist (12 monthContract)

Description

As a contractor supporting a workforce development team, you will assist with training systems, documentation, training records, and content materials.

Documentation Management

• Monitor and follow up on documentation change requests
• Maintain documents using appropriate software, standards, styles, and templates
• Edit and proofread documentation
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy
• Store documents in designated repositories and follow data management requirements
• Maintain documentation system data
  
  

Learning Management System Administration

• Follow learning administration and training content standards
• Monitor and follow up on training requests
• Audit and update training content and assignments
• Create and manage on-the-job training (OJT) certifications for controlled documents
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  
  

Required Experience

• 2 years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation or managing a learning management system (industry experience preferred)
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience writing technical documentation for systems, equipment, or processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with collaboration or document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint)
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  
  

Employment Details

• Contract duration: Approximately 12 months Onsite M-F - Full time hours in Boise, ID
  
  

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $28-30/ per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
