This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.
Summary
We are seeking a Studio Photo Editor to support an in-house photography studio team within a fast-paced Product, Design, and Marketing environment. This role serves as a key liaison between art directors, photo producers, photographers, and artist relations teams while helping manage studio workflows, approvals, and asset delivery. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth communication across teams while maintaining high creative and operational standards within the studio environment.

In this role, you will support the in-house photography studio by managing image review, artist approval workflows, and asset delivery across multiple creative initiatives.
You’ll partner with photo art directors, photo producers, studio photographers, artist relations teams, and production staff to ensure photography captured in the studio meets creative priorities and platform needs. This includes serving as the primary onsite liaison between teams, fielding real-time requests, documenting feedback, and coordinating retouching updates.
You will also support live studio events and ongoing creative initiatives, including assisting with live editing and asset delivery, coordinating studio resources with production teams, identifying key moments for creative recaps, and maintaining studio operational standards and equipment across multiple locations.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 5 years of experience in photo editing, studio production, or photography operations
- Passion for visual storytelling, culture, and lifestyle photography with a strong foundation in photo editing and production workflows
- Proficient in photo editing and asset management tools, with strong organizational and project management skills
- Familiar with studio photography workflows, retouching processes, and asset delivery pipelines
- Skilled in collaborating with photographers, art directors, producers, and cross-functional creative teams
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
- Craft-focused eye for visual quality and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Background in photography production, photo editing, creative operations, or digital asset management
- Experience working within studio environments and cross-functional creative teams
- This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA and requires hybrid work
- The pay for this W-2 position is $74.64 per hour
- TThis position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
