The Senior Finance Program/Project Manager will lead complex, cross-functional Finance transformation initiatives that modernize enterprise Finance processes, systems, and ways of working. This role owns end-to-end program delivery and process-driven initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and adoption across a large, matrixed organization.

The Senior Finance Program/Project Manager will lead complex, cross-functional Finance transformation initiatives that modernize enterprise Finance processes, systems, and ways of working. This role owns end-to-end program delivery and process-driven initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and adoption across a large, matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic Finance transformation programs and end-to-end project delivery from definition through execution, adoption, and value realization.
- Partner with executive sponsors and Finance leadership to define scope, success metrics, timelines, resourcing, and governance.
- Apply structured program and project management practices to plan, execute, monitor, and de-risk multi-phase initiatives.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues; escalate as needed.
- Lead process initiatives within Finance, including defining scope, success measures, and improvement opportunities.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track delivery progress, process performance, and business impact.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Facilitate cross-functional process reviews and continuous improvement efforts to reduce pain points.
- Drive change management activities, including communication, training, UAT coordination, and operational readiness.
- Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in finance transformation, program/project management, or process-driven initiatives.
- Proven track record leading large, cross-functional programs with measurable results.
- Experience driving process improvement and operational change within Finance.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (Green Belt considered with strong leadership experience).
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong experience with enterprise Finance systems and reporting/analytics platforms; SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a matrixed environment and influence senior stakeholders.
