Executive Director (Medical Administrator)
Southern California | Ventura, Santa Barbara & Los Angeles Counties
Full-time | On-site with regional travel
MatchBukh Talent Solutions is partnering with a multi-site neuroscience and specialty care organization to identify an experienced Executive Director (Medical Administrator) to lead operations across six Southern California locations.
This is a confidential direct-hire opportunity with a respected healthcare group providing advanced neurosurgical, neurological, and primary care services. The organization integrates cutting-edge diagnostics and a multidisciplinary approach to deliver comprehensive patient care.
The Executive Director will oversee daily operations, administrative leadership, and compliance while partnering closely with the Managing Partner (a practicing physician) to ensure clinical, financial, and marketing goals are achieved. This role will also provide dotted-line oversight of Marketing and Finance to ensure cross-departmental alignment, accountability, and timely execution of initiatives.
The organization includes 12 providers (MDs, PAs, and NPs) supported by a team of skilled clinical and administrative professionals across six sites in Santa Barbara, Camarillo (two locations), Oxnard, Simi Valley, and Northridge.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across six clinical and surgical sites
- Partner with physicians and administrative teams to improve efficiency, workflows, and patient access
- Oversee financial, operational, and compliance initiatives in collaboration with the Managing Partner
- Support Marketing and Finance through dotted-line oversight to ensure initiatives stay on track and aligned with practice goals
- Lead and develop the Manager of Operations and cross-functional teams
- Drive consistency, accountability, and a culture of collaboration and service excellence across all locations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business administration is a MUST. (Master’s preferred)
- 3 years of executive/director level leadership experience in a multi-site healthcare organization, clinic network, or ASC is a MUST.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, compliance, and revenue cycle management
- Proven success leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing provider-based operations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly between practice locations in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties
