Insurance Verification & Authorization Specialist, San Francisco, CA (100% on site for 90 days, 2 days on site and 3 days remote after 90 days or once released by manager).
MatchBukh Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Insurance Verification & Authorization Specialist on behalf of a respected healthcare organization in San Francisco. This role supports insurance authorizations, payer follow-up, and documentation to ensure smooth care delivery and accurate reimbursement.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and track insurance authorizations for patient services
- Follow up with payers and coordinate required clinical documentation
- Maintain compliant, organized authorization and medical record files
- Collaborate with clinical, billing, and administrative teams to resolve issues
What We’re Looking For (MUST HAVES):
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare authorizations, insurance verification, or medical administration for a skilled nursing facility, hospital, assisted living or physician office experience.
- Strong understanding of payer processes and medical terminology
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Pay: $27–$33/hr (based on experience)
