We’re looking for an Human Resources Intern for an HR Internship. This is an active and growth focused opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and excited to gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of a growing HR function.

About the Role

Our next incredible Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources Manager across a range of administrative and operational priorities tied to onboarding, employee support, systems coordination, and HR process execution.


This HR Internship is not a purely observational internship. You’ll be actively involved in important day-to-day HR support work that helps create a smooth employee experience for new hires and internal team members alike.


The right person for this role is proactive, organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once. You should be someone who takes pride in getting the details right, follows through consistently, and enjoys supporting process-heavy work.


What You’ll Own / Support

  • Prepare and send offer letters and contract agreements for signature
  • Support the full onboarding process for new hires from start to finish
  • Assist with Paycom onboarding tasks and related data entry and system review and clean-up
  • Process equipment requests and track fulfillment status
  • Help manage first-day logistics in partnership with hiring managers
  • Support the creation, organization, and hosting of onboarding presentations
  • Schedule new hire reviews and other employee-related check-ins
  • Support payroll register reviews and administrative follow-up
  • Upload and organize state tax notices and related documentation, assist with applying for state accounts, and maintain records
  • Help coordinate internal culture events and team engagement activities
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR & Finance teams as needed


What Success Looks Like

  • New hire onboarding is completed accurately and on time, including offer letters/contracts, and equipment are sent without unnecessary delay
  • Internal systems and records are organized, current, and easy to reference
  • HR processes are supported with consistency, follow-through, and strong attention to detail
  • The HR Manager can rely on you to own recurring administrative tasks with minimal oversight


Who You Are

  • Highly organized, naturally detail-oriented, and a clear communicator, both written and verbally
  • Dependable, responsive, and comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable working inside systems, checklists, spreadsheets, and administrative workflows
  • Positive, team-oriented, willing to jump in where needed, and eager to learn
  • Able to operate with professionalism in a fast-moving environment


Preferred Background

  • Current college student, recent graduate, or someone early in their career looking to build experience in Human Resources and People Operations
  • Previous internship, administrative, office coordination, customer support, or operations experience is a plus but not necessary
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and HRIS/payroll systems is helpful, but not required
