What You’ll Do
- Be the brain behind the machine—design, develop, and implement PLC control systems
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to create high-performance packaging solutions
- Travel to customer sites (limited) for commissioning and support—your code in action!
- Analyze problems, troubleshoot systems, and push technology forward
- A strong foundation in PLC and CAD programming
- A love for complex challenges and elegant solutions
- Experience with HMI, servo motion, and industrial controls
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Curiosity, grit, and a great attitude
Required Qualifications:
- BSEE, BSME, or equivalent technical training and experience
- 7 years of experience in PLC and motion control programming for industrial systems
- Proficient in Rockwell CompactLogix/ControlLogix/RSLogix
- Experienced in AutoCAD and electrical panel design
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in packaging machinery
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Strong interpersonal skills; reliable and detail-oriented
- Skilled in automation architecture design
- Knowledge of Intrinsically Safe (Class 1 Division 1) design requirements
