Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment accurately
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly before and after diagnostics
- Document all hours, materials, and findings before leaving each jobsite
- Maintain strong first-call resolution rates
- Run after-hours calls as required
- Identify maintenance agreement and replacement opportunities
- Keep service vehicle stocked and organized
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct
- Support and mentor apprentice technicians
- Follow company billing, dispatch, and documentation protocols
What We're Looking For
- 4 years of field experience
- Valid driver's license
- EPA Type II or Universal
- NATE Certification
- Master Heat Pump Technician Certification
- 9 hours of continuing HVAC education annually
- Strong understanding of repair vs. replacement criteria
- Knowledge of sheet metal and air balancing principles
- Ability to safely operate lifts and work at heights
- HVAC trade school completion
- Electrical training
- VRF or hydronics experience
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Controls experience
- Trane certifications
