Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in searching for an Engineering Technician I in Westborough MA. Our client is a well-established electronics manufacturing company supporting OEM customers in the industrial, medical, aerospace, and defense markets.
Starting pay: $28–$32 per hour
Scheduled: Full-Time, Monday thru Friday, 1st Shift - fully onsite
Position Summary
The Engineering Technician I will support press-fit assembly operations, focusing on machine setup, process monitoring, and quality inspection of printed circuit board assemblies. This is a hands-on, onsite role in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate press-fit assembly machines
- Define and adjust press parameters (force, speed, alignment)
- Load PCBs and components and monitor press-fit processes
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and compliance
- Troubleshoot process or machine issues and report concerns
- Assist with development and improvement of press-fit tools and processes
- Perform basic machine maintenance as required
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Understanding of press-fit technology and PCB assembly processes
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with IPC-610, ESD, ISO 9002, or similar standards preferred
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
