A growing financial services organization is seeking a motivated and relationship-oriented Business Development Analyst to support advisor recruiting and business development initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective financial advisors while helping drive strategic growth efforts across the organization. Position Overview
The Business Development Analyst will support advisor acquisition efforts by conducting outreach campaigns, managing prospect relationships, maintaining CRM data, and coordinating meetings and follow-up activities. This role is well-suited for individuals with backgrounds in sales, recruiting, business development, or client-facing financial services environments who are looking to build a long-term career within a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Advisor Recruiting & Business Development
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone, email, and other communication channels to engage prospective financial advisors.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with advisor practices and potential business partners.
- Communicate the firm's platform, services, resources, and value proposition to prospective advisors.
- Schedule introductory meetings, discovery calls, and follow-up discussions for senior business development leaders.
- Assist newly engaged advisors throughout the onboarding and transition process.
- Support marketing and prospect engagement initiatives, including email campaigns, webinars, and educational events.
Prospecting & Pipeline Management
- Research and identify qualified advisor prospects and business development opportunities.
- Evaluate prospective advisor opportunities based on strategic fit and recruiting objectives.
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Track pipeline activity and prospect engagement to support business development goals.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, meeting notes, and pipeline activity within the CRM system.
- Monitor sales activity and provide updates regarding prospect status and recruiting efforts.
- Generate reports and support data analysis related to business development performance and recruiting initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and organization across prospect and advisor records.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, business development, recruiting, or a client-facing financial services role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships.
- Comfortable conducting proactive outreach, including cold calling and prospecting activities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional, confident, and resilient approach to handling objections and navigating sales conversations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to financial services, wealth management, insurance, or advisor-facing environments.
- Familiarity with annuity, insurance, or investment products is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior CRM experience and familiarity with pipeline management processes.
- Formal sales training or business development certifications are advantageous.
