Location: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital | 232 Beds | ADC 180
We’re working with a top-performing inpatient rehabilitation hospital seeking an experienced and credentialed Director of Case Management (DCM) to join their senior leadership team. This opportunity offers direct access to executive leadership, a stable patient census, and oversight of a strong, multidisciplinary team.
Key Highlights:
- 232-bed facility (38 beds dedicated to skilled nursing)
- Average daily census: 180 patients
- 27 direct reports, including case managers, case management assistants, and rehab counselors
- Reports directly to the CEO, with a dotted line to the Regional Director of Case Management
- No patient caseload – full focus on leadership, strategy, and team development
Required Background:
- Active license as an RN, OT, PT, ST, or Rehab Counselor
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) credential preferred; candidates without certification must obtain it within the first year of employment
- Strong leadership experience in healthcare case management is essential
- CEO prefers candidates outside the MSW/Social Work discipline unless they have exceptional leadership experience and CCM certification
Compensation:
- Base salary range: $120,000–$135,000, depending on experience and certification
- Quarterly bonus potential, based on achievement of financial and clinical metrics
