About the Role
Growing company seeking a highly skilled Facilities Director to lead our company-wide facilities function across all restaurant locations. This role oversees the Facilities team, drives strategic repair and maintenance operations, manages vendor performance, and ensures our restaurants operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned QSR facilities leader with deep technical knowledge, strong vendor management experience, and the ability to build scalable processes that support rapid growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop the Facilities team to ensure consistent execution across multiple markets.
- Build and implement company-wide facilities strategies, standards, and service expectations.
- Maintain and continuously improve facilities workflows, SOPs, and playbooks.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, inspectors, municipalities, and internal partners.
- Oversee repair & maintenance operations, preventative maintenance programs, and emergency response.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to manage budgets, R&M spending, POs, warranties, invoices, and asset tracking.
- Review bids, scopes of work, estimates, and equipment details; make repair vs. replace recommendations.
- Support acquisition due diligence, facilities assessments, and transition planning.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize and enhance facilities systems to track work orders, vendor performance, spending, KPIs, and assets.
- Collaborate with Operations to identify root causes of recurring issues and improve uptime and guest experience.
- Assist with IT, equipment, and cross-functional facility projects as needed.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 8 years of progressive facilities, repair, and maintenance experience.
- 3 years of leadership experience overseeing facilities teams, technicians, vendors, or contractors.
- Restaurant industry experience required; QSR multi-unit experience strongly preferred.
- Expert-level knowledge of QSR equipment, repair costs, replacement decisions, and vendor pricing.
- Strong understanding of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, signage, and life safety.
- Experience with budgeting, vendor contracts, asset management, PM programs, and due diligence acquisition.
- Ability to interpret building specs, equipment standards, and local regulations.
- General IT services experience is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Service Channel, Monday.com, Restaurant365, or similar tools.
