We are a large Commercial General Contractor seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our Operations team. The Quality Control Specialist plays a central role in supporting project teams and ensuring accurate, timely flow of information throughout the construction process. Serving as a key connection between the Architect, Owner, Subcontractors, and internal teams, this position helps maintain documentation, monitor project requirements, and assist field supervision in meeting schedule, budget, and quality expectations. This role provides essential support from project start through close-out.

Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager and field supervision to help maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall workflow.
- Develop a thorough understanding of all contract documents and subcontractor scopes to effectively assist both office and field personnel.
- Maintain an accurate and current Contract Drawing Log within Procore.
- Manage and organize on-site project files, ensuring all correspondence and relevant documents are properly maintained for reference.
- Participate in project close-out activities, including file archiving, plan/document organization, and handoff materials for long-term project recordkeeping.
- Assist the Project Manager with obtaining, logging, tracking, and distributing submittals in alignment with contract specifications.
- Handle essential project documentation such as:
- Pre-construction meeting records and attendance
- Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Potential Change Orders (PCOs)
- Meeting minutes
- Permits and inspections
- Field coordination and scheduling assistance
- Concrete pour cards, schedules, and placement documentation
- Close-out deliverables, including warranties, guarantees, O&M manuals, and as-built drawing compilation and distribution to the Owner
- Experience with Procore, Timberline, MS Word, Excel, and P6 scheduling software preferred. Comparable experience with Prolog or Expedition is acceptable.
- Desired project experience includes a range of commercial and industrial building types, such as high-rise, hotel/timeshare, data centers, industrial or tilt-up facilities, office buildings, education, retail, aviation, healthcare, multi-family, federal or municipal projects, hospitality/casino, sports and recreation facilities, parking structures, and tenant improvement or renovation work.
