We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our team and help ensure every doughnut is nothing short of amazing, because that’s what our customers deserve. The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for assuring the quality and freshness of our doughnuts through a variety of metrics. Acting as a strategic partner to our Doughnut Creators and Artists, they will use effective coaching methods to drive team performance while helping reduce overall waste and improve efficiency.
Essential Functions
- Oversee taste, freshness, and overall decoration and presentation aspects of doughnut products on a daily basis.
- Develop positive rapport with the team, providing helpful feedback to enhance performance.
- Cultivate a culture of mentorship while still holding the team accountable for brand standards of taste, freshness, and presentation.
- Ensuring trays are logically and properly loaded for delivery, each labeled accordingly and correctly.
- Verifies product rotations are done as scheduled, maintaining thorough logs for frequent inspection and reporting.
- Approve and sign off on orders verifying your approval before they are sent to shops.
- Assist production by keeping up to date on what product is needed, performing quality checks, and making sure pars are correct.
- Ensures cleanliness standards are being met, ensuring all areas are routinely and thoroughly cleaned and keeping thorough logs for frequent inspection and reporting. This includes maintaining oil recycling logs as well.
- Frequently inspect the team's adherence to the uniform and safety shoe policies, ensuring compliance.
- Promote an environment of safety, ensuring compliance with health department and OSHA standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- One year or more in a quality control role, or similar role that demanded extreme attention to detail and uphold the highest of quality standards
- Experience with Jolt, JERA, and Restaurant365 strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret doughnut data such as pars, inventory, COGs to enhance or pivot quality control strategies on demand
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong verbal/written English communication skills, but bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred
- Able to work varying shifts including morning, afternoon, nights, and overnights
- Must have ServSafe Manager certification, or be able to obtain one, and a valid Clark County Food Handler's Card.

- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, and lifting up to 20lbs
