The School of Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology department is seeking a full-time clinical faculty member.

The Successful Candidate Will

• Participate in the day to day activities of the the division of OB/GYN;
• Provide direct clinical supervision of residents;
• Provide didactic instruction to residents;
• Provide student lectures, seminar, moderation, and clinical teaching in conjunction with student curriculum devised by the Clerkship director;
• Participate on the clinical research program developed in the the department and facilitate recruitment of patients on an as needed basis;
• Provide direct patient care;
• Participate in the OB/GYN generalist call schedule on a regular basis;
• Participate in the weekly inhouse call schedule;
• Participate in any other clinical activities of the department;
• Consult with the Chair on any potential new OB/GYN market opportunities;
• Participate in productivity and cost analysis projects;
• Work closely with the Curriculum committee of the MUSOM to ensure compatibility of departmental goals and objectives with institutional goas and objectives;
• Visit rural sited for appropriateness of training;
• Explore new and innovative teaching techniques.

Education

• Medical degree or foreign equivalent
  
  

Experience

• Completion of a four year residency in obstetrics and gynecology and American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certification or active candidate required.
