Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Health, Division of Addiction Science is seeking a dynamic Lead Evaluator to support and grow our applied research and evaluation capacity. This faculty position is ideal for a scholar-practitioner with experience in evaluation design, stakeholder engagement, and transitioning research into improved outcomes in health settings.
Some travel required to research sites as needed to support data collection, implementation, and stakeholder engagement
Location MUSOM - Marshall University School of Medicine Salary Range Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity

Required Qualifications
Education
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Evaluation, Public Health, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience leading program evaluation or research projects including planning, instrument design, data collection, and analysis, with emphasis on behavioral health and substance use disorder programs and initiatives.
- Experience in statistical analysis software with strong analytical skills, understanding both qualitative and quantitative methods and their applications in real-world settings.
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams, community agencies/members, funding decision makers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to prepare detailed reports, findings, proposals, presentations, peer reviewed publications and briefings to stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring students or early career professionals.
