We are seeking applicants for a one year Instructor position to teach in the department’s various degree programs. Successful applicants will have a doctoral degree in a sub-field of psychology from a regionally accredited university OR a master’s degree in a substantive area of psychology with at least 3 years’ work experience and evidence of teaching proficiency.
Area of specialization is open, and the position, at this time, is non-tenure track and non-renewable. The teaching load will be 12 hours per semester. Applicants with interests and skills to support student community engagement in high-impact experiential learning such as internships and apprenticeships are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses with opportunities to engage in research and service. Experience in online education is also preferred but not required; however, online instruction in some capacity may be required of the successful candidate.
