Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Systems Technician to support the installation, inspection, and maintenance of security and life safety systems. This role involves working with access control, burglar alarms, CCTV, and fire alarm systems while ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install and service Access Control, CCTV, Burglar Alarm, and Fire Alarm systems
Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of life safety systems
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
Complete service requests and inspection reports using electronic systems
Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records
Identify opportunities for additional services or system upgrades
Follow structured inspection schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
Utilize technical resources and tools effectively for task execution
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working with low voltage systems and hand tools
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in field environments
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
NICET certification (preferred but not required)
Prior experience with fire alarm or security system inspections
