HR Operations Specialist
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week; increasing to 4 days/week in April) need only locals

About the Role
The HR Operations Specialist will support the full employee lifecycle within a structured, professional corporate environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless onboarding, accurate HR administration, and consistent follow-through across all HR processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on onboarding and new-hire coordination.
- Facilitate onboarding tasks including documentation, background checks, system access, and orientation preparation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HR transaction processing in the HRIS (Workday preferred).
- Assist with compliance tasks including I-9 verification, audits, and policy adherence.
- Support benefits administration, employee status changes, reporting, and HR documentation.
- Provide polished, high-quality HR support to employees, managers, and internal partners.
- Ensure processes are completed accurately and on schedule, with strong ownership of follow-through.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and proactively recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with HR team members on projects, onboarding cycles, and employee experience enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–5 years of experience in a corporate HR environment (professional services, finance, investment, banking, or similar corporate office).
- Experience supporting onboarding, employee lifecycle tasks, and HR administrative functions.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday experience is preferred).
- Demonstrated strength in organization, time management, and handling multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with consistent, reliable follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional and polished demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and proactively drive tasks to completion.
Work Schedule
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite weekly, increasing to 4 days onsite starting in April.
- Standard corporate business hours.
Interview Process
- Three interview rounds, approximately 30 minutes each:
- Round 1: Virtual interview (situational/behavioral HR questions).
- Rounds 2 & 3: Onsite, back-to-back with HR leadership.
- Preferred interview days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or early December.
Salary : $35 - $40
