Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is responsible for providing support to the Process, Equipment and Automation Engineering teams. This role will help develop and optimize processes, create manufacturing documentation, assemble prototypes and equipment as well as aid in troubleshooting efforts for the engineering teams.Pay: $25/hr-$35/hrTemp to HireDuties & ResponsibilitiesBuild, test, document, and repair products, fixtures, and equipment per engineering documentation.Maintain and calibrate manufacturing instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance and proper asset control.Fabricate and assemble custom electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems (e.g., wire harnesses, control panels, automation equipment, and prototypes) from technical drawings and schematics.Develop and update Manufacturing Assembly Procedures and Work Instructions.Execute process development experiments, record data, and report results to engineering teams.Support logistics and procurement for engineering tools, fixtures, and off-the-shelf components; coordinate vendor quotes and orders.Install, adjust, and maintain production fixtures, automation systems, and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment.Perform electrical and mechanical failure analysis on production and returned units.Maintain and promote 5S workplace standards.Train manufacturing associates and provide feedback to engineering on process and equipment improvements.Assist in prototype and R&D builds, including 3D printing, assembly, and testing.Manage and organize manufacturing tools, hardware, and lab consumables.Support compliance with company and regulatory standards, including cGMP and ISO 9000.Perform other related duties as required.Minimum QualificationsExperience as an Electronics, Automation, or Mechanical Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with industrial controls wiring, cable routing, component layout, sensors, robotics, and PLC systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.Hands-on experience with lab and metrology equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, etc.).Skilled in fabrication equipment (mill, lathe, drill press, 3D printer, chop saw, etc.).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.Solid communication skills for interaction with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams.Working knowledge of CAD software, word processing, and spreadsheets.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.Associate Degree or Certification in Electronics, Automation, or Mechanical Assembly preferred.Company DescriptionMarquee Staffing has built a reputation on expert local market knowledge, unparalleled personalized service and the ability to deliver winning candidates and job opportunities.Marquee operates offices located conveniently throughout Southern California.
