- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition and to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
- Handle basic repairs, including diagnosing mechanical issues and fixing or replacing faulty components.
- Oversee contractors when specialized or professional repairs are necessary, ensuring work is completed according to company standards.
- Disassemble machinery, equipment, or devices to remove defective parts and replace them as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to guide repair and maintenance work.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to carry out repairs.
- Use precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs, ensuring records are kept up to date.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, ensuring all maintenance tasks are tracked and completed efficiently.
- Maintain a professional attitude and presentation while working independently or as part of a team.
- Follow up on maintenance tasks to ensure all repairs are properly completed and operational.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must understand electricity (some) and carpentry

- Proven experience in maintenance, with a strong background in equipment and machinery repair.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a related degree from a technical college is preferred.

- Push/Pull: Occasionally uses upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.
