Position Overview
We’re hiring a Technical Product Liaison—someone fluent in Laravel who can bridge the gap between client conversations, integration requirements, product demos, and the internal dev team.
This role exists to take on the technical client-facing workload that’s currently distracting developers: demoing new features, validating workflows, fielding integration questions, and capturing the edge cases that show up mid-sprint. You’ll attend daily stand-ups to stay aligned, meet with clients to walk through releases or integration points, and step into the code as needed to understand or validate behaviors.
You’re not owning tickets or project status—but you’re an active participant in the flow: creating Jira tickets when it makes sense, adding detail to unblock devs, or capturing something a PM or support rep missed. You’ll be the technical voice in the room when a PM isn’t deep enough and a developer shouldn’t be pulled in.
This is a full-time, remote role based in the U.S. You must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. We are not able to support work visa applications (e.g., H-1B) at this time.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily standups to stay current on active work and unblock where needed
- Lead client-facing product demos and sprint showbacks
- Coordinate integration conversations with clients, including basic feasibility and follow-up
- Test workflows in staging, simulate API calls (Postman), and validate key business logic
- Create or update Jira tickets as needed to document client requests, bug details, or workflow gaps
- Follow up with devs, PMs, or clients to keep delivery aligned without micromanaging either side
- Occasionally access AWS S3 or similar services to validate data or support integration testing (no AWS admin work)
- Read and debug Laravel code (routes, controllers, services) to validate behaviors or isolate issues
- Collaborate with product, QA, and technical leads in a remote-first team
- Participate in sprints, planning, and peer code reviews
- Work in secure, cloud-based environments following industry best practices
- May do some light coding tasks in Laravel depending on current workload
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B)
- Must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience developing production applications with Laravel in a corporate or enterprise setting. A Laravel-based coding test will be required to demonstrate this capability.
- Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and MySQL
- Solid knowledge of the full LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), Git, and Linux-based development workflows
- High-level experience with Laravel, including production application development (3 years preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Laravel Vapor, or similar platforms
- Experience working in modern development environments and tools (e.g., Jira, Postman, secure cloud-based workflows)
-
Strong communication skills—able to work independently in a remote team
Bonus Experience
- Client-facing work in software delivery, product demos, or integration discussions
- Familiarity with regulated environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, healthcare, CPG)
- Experience working across PM, dev, and support teams—connecting the dots where needed
- Understanding of how Laravel apps interact with external APIs or file-based integrations
Working conditions
- This is a full-time, remote-first position. You’ll work regular U.S. Eastern Time Zone hours using standard remote development tools and communication platforms. Occasional travel may be required for team collaboration or strategic planning.
