What You’ll Be Doing
- Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and proper garnishments for accurate plate setup.
- Prepare trays and carts and deliver meals to guest rooms.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and service equipment.
- Retrieve trays and carts from guest floors promptly.
- Record and process guest orders accurately using the Point of Sale system.
- Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations when serving alcohol.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor throughout shift.
- Perform assigned side work and other duties as directed by management.
- Prior food and beverage service experience required; hospitality background preferred.
- Ability to read and understand menus and dining tickets.
- Knowledge of menu specifics, plate ware setup, and garnishment.
- Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through crowded or confined spaces.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining service excellence.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to operate POS systems and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment.
