Home2 Suites in Athens, AL is looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead our 15 person strong team!
We are located at 15763 Braly Blvd Athens, Alabama 35611
Responsibilities
- Plan work schedules with occupancy forecast to ensure proper coverage for the week
- Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage for the day
- Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
- Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning
- Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift
- Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness. Give inspectors and housekeepers guidance on lacking areas
- Notifies GM and maintenance of repairs as necessary
- Hires, coaches, and disciplines direct report
- Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
Qualifications
- High-school graduate or equivalent experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual communication skills (preferred)
- Computer knowledge and/or experience (preferred)
Industry Experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry (preferred)
- Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper (preferred)
Required Skills
- Ability to follow directions and delegate in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible to work varied schedules
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to listen attentively
- Must have the physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long time periods
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must adhere to grooming and appearance standards in alignment with Mansa Hospitality Standards
