US - Sr Systems Engineer

Our client, aerospace engineering organization is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Systems Engineer, you will be part of the engineering and systems team supporting cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent cross-functional communication, strong documentation skills, and stakeholder management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Systems Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $101/hr

What’s the Job?

• Design, implement, and maintain the IBM ELM/Jazz platform to support aerospace workflows and Digital Thread initiatives
• Integrate IBM ELM with enterprise systems (PLM, CAD, ERP, MES) and build data pipelines using OSLC and REST APIs
• Administer and configure IBM ELM tools, including DOORS NG, EWM, ETM, and related components
• Ensure compliance with ARP4754 and manage traceability, verification, and safety-critical workflows
• Develop automation, reporting dashboards, and manage change requests, defect tracking, and workflow processes
  
  

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5 years of experience in software/systems engineering tooling
• Proven experience integrating IBM ELM with enterprise PLM systems
• Strong experience with ARP4754 frameworks and interaction with DO-178C and DO-254 standards
