What's the Job?
- Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits to evaluate capabilities and identify areas for enhancement.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Evaluate supplier performance metrics and monitor quality trends to support ongoing improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited institution.
- 6 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role within manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings to disposition hardware non-conformities.
- Ability to conduct supplier audits and influence supplier performance improvements effectively.
