Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier performance, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives for a valued client. This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional with strong supplier audit, root cause analysis, corrective action, and engineering drawing interpretation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with client quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action activities to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Partner with suppliers to improve performance, strengthen quality processes, and support business objectives.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings to support hardware disposition and quality decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 6 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong project management, influencing, negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience leading supplier development initiatives.
- Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
