Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, Operations, and Program Management to troubleshoot and resolve supplier quality issues.
- Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Honeywell's quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers to help them meet Honeywell’s quality requirements.
- Support internal and customer audits
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 2 years of experience in supplier quality engineering.
- Solid knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies, including the understanding and interpretation of drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials, as well as prior understanding of Corrective Actions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in conducting supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvement.
- Experience in leading supplier development initiatives and driving supplier performance improvement.
- Knowledge of industry quality standards and requirements. Such as AS9100, ANSI, NADCAP, and MIL-STD, among others.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, be a good team player, and take initiative to learn and work independently.
