Work directly with suppliers to satisfy Honeywell's quality standards and strategy, and replenishment initiatives in the manufacture of components. You will interact with all levels of the Honeywell Organization. As Honeywell's point of contact within the supply base, you will travel within your assigned geographical area, in support of a variety of supplier oversight functions, spending most of your time at supplier facilities. - Key Responsibilities
Properly interpret and enforce all applicable purchase order requirements
Evaluate supplier systems and conduct gap analysis where required
Prepare and present metrics associated with quality trends and related improvements within the supply base
Provide technical leadership to coordinate implementation of Six Sigma and Lean
Manufacturing through advanced quality processes including statistically based variation reduction, control planning, mistake proofing, and Process Control
Process large quantities of information and determine critical needs, to develop solutions that alleviate barriers and meet the needs of internal and external customers
Develop strong partnership with suppliers regarding their commitment to Honeywell projects, timing and measurement of results
