Specialist Quality Control

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist Quality Control to join their team. As a Specialist Quality Control, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality and safety standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Specialist Quality Control

Location: El Paso, TX

What's the Job?

• Maintain and prepare quality reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Perform chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, finished goods, and stability products.
• Maintain and implement efforts in housekeeping, safety programs, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with precision and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain calibration programs for laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field with hands-on laboratory training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
• Experience with USP, ISO, ASTM based chemical testing and strict adherence to documented procedures.
• Knowledge of validation principles for chemical methods, including development and validation of new test methods.
• Ability to interpret data, troubleshoot experiments, and maintain accurate laboratory records.
