Mobile HVAC Technician

Our client, a leader in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and efficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Traverse City, MI

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems within assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Perform routine inspections and repairs on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, focusing on HVAC and refrigeration systems, to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and parts used, utilizing CMMS systems such as Corrigo.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and respond promptly to repair work orders to support continuous facility operations.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Valid state driver’s license and willingness to perform call-in work as required.
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Strong technical knowledge of system design, applications, and maintenance procedures.
