Job Title: Scientist 1, Microbiology Development
Location: El Paso, TX
Pay Range: $27/hour
What’s the Job?
- Perform microbiological testing on pharmaceutical products, raw materials, and medical devices
- Execute sterility, microbial limits, and bioburden testing following USP and ASTM methods
- Prepare microbiological media, reagents, and maintain cultures
- Support lab operations including inventory, labeling, and organization
- Document and present experimental data in compliance with GDP standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related field
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience
- Experience with microbiological testing methods (sterility, USP, ASTM)
- Strong documentation skills and knowledge of Good Documentation Practices
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate in a team environment
